Bike Projects for 2010
- Highway 6 Trail Completion: The shared use path along Hwy 6 is now being extended from 19th Street up to Clear Creek where there has been a gap in the trail system.
- Highway 93 Trail Gap: Funding has been set aside to close the trail gap in the vicinity of Virginial Street. Construction date tbd.
- Jackson Street Corridor: Construction has begun on this project that reduces traffic to two lanes (it's now three lanes wide) and adds bike lanes, landscaping, and much-improved sidewalks running from 14th near Safeway down to 24th near the high school.
- Bike Routes: Establish numerous routes identified by the Bike Task Force using signage along smaller, local streets.
